Metaforté for reinvented, individualized interviews

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Respond to a survey about Quebec City and get a chance to win $200. This publicity has been getting much attention in the past few weeks. Maybe you have even responded to this questionnaire yourself.

At the request of LXB Communications Marketing, we have contributed to the development of Metaforté, an application used to create the survey in question. Metaforté is a Web application conceptualized by LXB and serves as an interactive focus group.

In addition to being a priceless complement to standard focus groups, this software brings together technology and the power of pictures over the human brain. While it allows for individual interviews, Metaforté uses scientific studies on the analysis of metaphors to help develop efficient neuromarketing strategies.

A great innovation, this software is the combined result of Heptacube’s mastery of the Web and LXB Communications Marketing’s expertise in brand analysis.

Two new iPhone projects

Friday, April 16th, 2010

At the end of last year, we spoke on this blog of Heptacube’s work in the smartphone area, more specifically the launch of hep.tacu.be for iPhone. We are now proud to announce that we are contributing to the creation of two new mobile applications for one of our clients.

The first iPhone application, which will be linked to the thumbsdownthumbsup.com domain, will allow its users to rate their consumer experience with a given company. This means companies as well as customers will have at hand a tool to let them know if a retailer, for instance, has a positive or negative image.

The second application, called “Flight Feedback”, is self-explanatory: it is an app for evaluating one’s flight experience. It is an easy way to learn what people think of the way aviation lines treat their customers.

With these two applications, Heptacube demonstrates once more its ability to work with the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit) as well as its extensive knowledge of developing innovative Web applications.

Heptacube contributes to Montreal’s White Dinner

Monday, March 15th, 2010

On August 20th 2009 took place the first White Dinner in Montreal. The White Dinner is a one-night gathering of friends’ friends in a prestigious location of the city for dinner. Elegance and good manners are what make this « Chic Picnic » a success.

You can only get access the event if you know someone who is already invited. The invitees know the date of the event but the location is kept secret until the final moment. Last year, Montreal’s Old Port hosted the 1,500 people present at the first Withe Dinner.

In order to better manage the invitees and organization in general, the organizers wanted to develop a simple and efficient online management tool. They have selected Heptacube for bringing this project to reality.

With our expertise in the development of user-friendly, custom-made Web applications, we will soon provide White Dinner participants with interface where they will be able to subscribe to the event, invite their friends, buy supplies and access useful information. The online tool, accessible to the managers, will also permit easier and more efficient management of the invitations.

A step into the world of Online Videos

Sunday, May 24th, 2009
It’s been a few months since Heptacube works with Telenation.tv to improve its web platform and the experience for its users/advertisers. First, we revamped the home page and the research section, adding possibilities to search by category, name, date and entreprise. The home page now offers a thumbnail view, always with the goal of enhancing the user/advertiser’s experience. 123
To help the administrator modify the site’s content, we added lots of HTML-based content. We’ve also installed an e-mail communication list, from the administrator to users.More importantly, it is now possible for users/advertisers of Telenation.tv to upload with the FFmpeg technology, thanks to the php shell_exec method. Programmers who master this technology are rare, and it’s with great pride that we display this achievement.

Fall programming

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

During the fall term, many clients, from diverses companies, and with different needs, chose the Heptacube team of experts for the realisation and concretization of their projects.

Enterprises such as BMG Multimedia have asked our programmers’ expertise, notably in PHP, one of our main forces, as a support to their own development team. We also worked with Barer inc., providing them new tools in order to make their website more dynamic. We also improved the ArtCan Company’s website, which we also host, by the implementation of a Content Manager System. The site was also completely translated from French to English. Furthermore, we worked for several other clients and developed our own R&D projects.
